Hour Building in October in Southern Spain. A flight from Juan Espadafor Aerodrome (LEJE) Hour-Building.com HQ to Cordoba (LEBA)
The flight is a simple flight. Taking off from the Pilot Controlled airfield of (LEJE) 130.100 into the CTR of Granada (LEGR) 118.850 flying towards Sierra Point of the CTR. You then ask Granada tower for a transit to Whiskey Point.
Granada Tower will ask you what height you want to fly. I recommend a climb to 6500ft due to whiskey being at 5200ft.
Once you reach Whiskey you will then get a frequency change to Seville Approach 132.600. As you have a filed flight plan they will advise you of traffic and that is it. You are on Radar.
You will then get a further frequency of Seville 134.800 before changing to 118.300 Cordoba Information. Again this airfield can either be Tower Controlled or Pilot Controlled. If you do not get a response from the Tower blind call, or speak to the other aircraft in the Circuit. It is an overhead join if no tower control. Left 03 or Right 21.
Parking anywhere in the GA area. AVGAS is available.
Lunch to be had at the Cordoba Aeroclub, which is next door to Cordoba Airfield.
Flight time from LEJE to LEBA is approximately 1hr.
