Passing the English Language Proficiency Test for your EASA PPL (A): What You Need to Know

Updated: Nov 30, 2023

One of the requirements for obtaining a European PPL is to complete your English Language Proficiency Test ELP Level 4 and above.

And yes, you have to do this test even if you are native English and have spoken English your whole life.

Our supplier for the ELP is www.lingaero.com based in Bordeaux LFCS which is also one of our www.hour-building.com rental bases.

Don't worry you do not have to go to Bordeaux to take the exam, you can complete it over the internet.

If English is not your first language you can contact James at Lingaero and he will advise you on what training you require to get at least a level 4 which will allow you to fly.

For more information contact by email: clifford@hour-building.com
