Exploring Spain in a Light Aircraft is very easy and relaxing. The advantage of flying in Spain is that the weather is VFR for 90% of the year. Personally, I believe the best time from flying is September through to March. Avoid April as this tends to be the rainy season with storms and high winds. Then May to June. Again I avoid July and August as temperatures in Southern Spain can soar up to the 40s.
The airspace for GA is empty. You rarely hear of another plane in the airspace. You only listen to the commercial jets that are travelling around 20,000ft above you.
