Maximizing Safety and Performance: Why Aircraft Maintenance is Essential

With our Hour Building flights totalling around 550 hours a month, there is a requirement to ground and check our aircraft every 50 hours. That is 11 inspections a month on both EASA & UKCAA Aircraft.

Our partners in Maintenance are Xenon Groupe www.xenon-groupe.com with their head office in Vannes, and also maintenance facilities in La Rochelle and Saucats Leognan Bordeaux.

They specialise in the full spectrum of the maintenance process and are also working with hour-building.com as we convert some of our Avgas Aircraft to Diesel. Our first PA28 conversion will be completed later this year.

When you are Hour Building you need to expect a service inspection at some point during your block booked hours. To most pilots this is a welcome break from dailing flying allowing them to re-charge and get ready to fly again. Service intervals are between one or two days.

Expect the unexpected. Flying General Aviation aircraft is a great adventure and with great adventures comes challenges. Our greatest challenge is minor faults. Examples have been, fuel pumps, starter motors, and the odd puncture. With our network of support companies around Europe, Aero Legends in the UK, World Aviation & Dedalo Aviation in Spain we have these problems covered.

We are also developing a maintenance hub that will be based in Alhama de Murcia where we will have maintenance support 24/7 as part of a developing business.

As an hour builder flying with www.hour-building.com you know you are looked after by the best General Aviation Maintenance in Europe and with the Senior Management of the Business all being pilots and flying the aircraft you can rest assured the aircraft are well maintained.
